Meaningful weekend spent :)

Hey peeps! :D

Getting lazier and lazier to blog nowadays. Maybe I got no patience to settle down and write a long blog post.

I have been experiencing so many things recently and I have lots of things to blog about. Due to my laziness, I only managed to update my Dayre with a very very short and cincai post :/

I spent most of my time reading other people's blog instead of me blogging heh :P

But oh well. Let's get serious now.

Last last last weekend, I went for this volunteering thing organised by OCBC cycle Malaysia and I actually quite enjoyed it :)

Although I earned for this volunteering thing but the most important thing wasn't about earning how much but it was all about the fun I had experienced :D

I couldn't describe how I feel for the 1st time volunteering experience, but I know it was absolutely worth it and it was definitely a great experience! 

This event was held for two days consecutively in the independent square (Dataran Merdeka) in the morning.
For the 1st day, we were asked to reach there before 8.30am to register and get ourselves changed for the T-shirt given :)

Our leader was late for a few minutes so the t shirt size collected wasn't enough for our group member since the t shirt size was based on the first come first serve basis. Without the leader, we can't register ourselves 1st :(

Our first day job was cycle pack runner. The job scope was actually quite interesting heh :P We were asked to choose to stand behind a counter person (they were volunteers too!) and become their runner. The counter people were responsible to scan the confirmation slip of the participant and their details will appear in the computer. Then, we will go pack 3 things in one shot, which were the bag, t-shirts or jersey and the bib number.

After packing, we hand over the bag to the participant and let them to check and ready for the race for tomorrow.

Me and Yi Chern were distributed to the kids' collection counter (not many customers). Basically, we only managed to do one of the customer's business where the father came over to collect the stuffs for his son and his son was racing on that day itself. Actually, the kids' stuff were supposed to be collected the day before the race, but since the race hadn't start on that day, they were allowed to collect it.

After 10.50am, the counter officially closed and we sat there and started to talk to each other like nobody's business lol :P

Sara, Pui Yin and Zing Yi's counter were filled with customers. We were quite envious cos they had something to do but we don't. :/

During lunch hour, most of the volunteers went out to have their lunch whilst me and Yi Chern went to Sara's counter to help out.

Omg, I can't believe we actually fighting over jobs to do! Hahaha, Ian and me were racing see who managed to get the bib number at the shortest time -.-

Although it was a bit childish, but it was really fun! And I actually get to know new friends from there :D

But hor, there was this malay guy which introduced himself as an engineer trainee (he was also one of the volunteer) kept on flirting and fooling with Sara HAHAHAHA
Sara can't stand him cos he was way too creepy and annoying. I was helping out over there and that guy pulled a chair over and sat behind Sara's standing counter and facing at Sara's backside.

He was telling me how good was the sitting spot and best place among all places. And my face literally went like this :O 'Wth??!!' He sounded really like a stalker and a casanova. While he was having his lunch break with his friends, we all were discussing how creepy he was and he knew our leader cos she was also in the same uni as him. Eh please lah, Putri is super pretty and gorgeous why you don't flirt her?! LOL

Maybe this guy found senses of humour in Sara and decided to make friends with her. I THINK IS LIKE THAT LA. But it was really weird after that. He kept on asking contact number from Sara. Sara didn't give him of course, but he managed to get her number from our group leader wtf.

He texted Sara and said some weird and disgusting messages omg *shudder

Okay whatever lah, this guy isn't worth so much of my words to describe him lol.

Anyway, we managed to take few selfies during the working hour. Teehee :D

Our shift ends at 2 something and Yew Jung and friends came over and replaced our places.

We went to the back place and had a short briefing about praising us that we did a great job :)

After this, we went back to the volunteers assembly room and gather to get our allowance. RM 40 collected! *chachingchaching :D

But when we thought of going back to rest we were like "HORRAYYYY!!!"
Okay, we managed to get two group photos at the Dataran Merdeka :D

After our shifts were over, we walked back to the Masjid Jamek Lrt Station to take the train to KL Sentral and walked back to college. Pui Yin had to rushed to work, so she didn't follow us after the event.

We walked back to Zing Yi's car and we saw this summon bill on her car! Omgggg :( She was like "GG, I thought Saturday no need one!" HAHAHHA, actually I reminded myself on that morning to ask her about the parking and tell her that Saturday do need to pay for parking! But lastly I forgot cos I went to pee in the college in that morning -.-

But oh well, if she can pay her summon before 15 days, she gets discount and discount if she goes to the rayuan counter. So the summon only will cost about RM30 like that :P

She drove us back to her house and the day before we jio-ed Ben for a dinner that night. So we went back to her house and leave our luggage in her room first.

When we 1st reach her apartment, we followed her to the lift and waited for the arrival of the lift. When the lift arrived, we saw her family! We first greeted them and they went out for don't know what (I guess they went for a walk), then we took the lift to her floor. 

Reached her house and took off the shoes. Washed legs and had a visit at her house :P Her house wasn't very cosy, it was quite spacing actually :D Quite comfy 

Dropped all the luggage in her room and went to the bathroom. Zing Yi taught us how to use her shower by procedure -.-

Quite complicated cos there were lots of things to do before we managed to get the water -.-

Settled most of our things in the room and we went out to the living room to watch tv. Her parents came back home and greeted them for the 2nd time :)

We kept on calling Ben to come and pick us up for dinner since he said he'll fetch us out. 

He didn't pick up our calls and we were like super hungry, REALLY HUNGRY. We literally went crazy cos we starved like hell -.-

We went down to wait for Ben since he didn't pick up our calls. Besides this reason, we also wanted to have a walk around her condo area. :)

We went to the playground and it was near the pool. Since it was evening time, there were lots of kid playing around and some of the guys were playing futsal at the badminton court -.-

Okay, so we became jakun and went straight to the see-saw. Me and Zing Yi were playing with the swing :D Heh! So fun!

But hor, the metal thing make so much noise and I suspected myself too heavy to be on the swing :( 

So I stopped playing the swing and we switched our places. Me and Zing Yi went to the see-saw and yalah of course I'm heavier than her. I made her butt so painful HAHAHAHA :P

Then we stopped playing and Yi Chern was the only one that was playing. All of us stood there and talked to her. Suddenly this guy came over to our place. He dressed like some swimming coach or some gym guy like that -.- He came to us and started to sing opera in front of us *my hair all stood up :S

I thought he was just playing around, but he wasn't -.- He sang louder and louder and he confessed his love to Zing Yi, and our face went like this :O Omggg ARE YOU EVEN SERIOUS?!! 

Zing Yi stopped looking at him and he sang 月亮代表我的心 to Yi Chern. :O

Yi Chern felt something wrong was going on and she told that guy better to go away before she swings higher and higher and gives him a high kick! LOLLL! :P

That guy walked away and we eventually said bye to him wth -.-

Me and Sara walked out from the playground area 1st, whilst Zing Yi and Yi Chern were still playing monkey bar :O

So the walking distance between me-Sara and Zing-Chern was far (about 75m) 

Sara then turned her head back and told me that psycho was following us wth. I turned my head back and wanted to have a look at him, but the scene where I saw was terrifying!!

I saw this psycho was walking behind Zing and Chern! He widen his arms and starting to chase over them!!! I guess Chern heard his footsteps and turned her head over, she turned and run and screaming like nobody's business HAHAHAHAH 

ME AND SARA ALSO DAMN SCARED SO WE RAN TO THE GUARD HOUSE BUT IT WAS A JALAN MATI -.-

We were slamming the door and wanting the guard to open the gate for us, but he didn't -.- Chern and Zing turned to the left when they reached the junction. Luckily the psycho ran straight :') PHEWWWW! *shudder

Imagine that he caught us and kidnap us to some dark room and rape us wtf 

We ran back to the lift area and decided to wait for Ben upstairs cos downstairs got that psycho hanging around the condo area wth is wrong with him -.-

Zing Yi went back to her house and started complaining to her mum how she get chased by a psycho. Her mum also got chased by him before!!! She said this guy's wife ran away from him and causes him to be like that now -.- Mentally imbalance I guesss Mhmm...

Finally got Ben to fetch us at late evening! :D Time for dinner! Yay!

He drove us around Cheras and we couldn't find something nice to eat sigh. He ended up bringing us to a closed shop -.- However, we walked to the end of the shop lots and found this coffee shop (the low class coffee shop) and they had this rice and dishes thing. We ordered rice and some dishes and this pretty sums up our dinner :D The food was good too!

After dinner, Ben fetched us to the night market in Cheras and we had a walk there.
So many snacks and I wanted to eat all omg T.T But I was too full already. Took some selfie before leaving the market Heh! :P

Ben dropped us back at Zing's condo and we walked back to her house. Reached and showered. After that we studied biology together cos we had our test last last week.

......................................Day 1.....................................

Woke up at 3.30am to prepare ourselves. Sara showered and we didn't cos we were running out of time hahahahaha. Sara took too long to bathe :P

We were asked to reach there before 4.45am to register ourselves and we left Zing's house at 4.20am. So so so sleepy in the morning. We just had our clothes changed and our teeth brushed.

Reached Dataran Merdeka around 4.40am and we walked passed the field to get to the underground. We waited for Pui Yin and she came after 5 minutes. Met her at the field and we went down to the underground to register and get our t-shirts. 

As usual, the leader didn't reach before us. So we waited there and had a short while of conversation. Ash suggested to take group photos because we didn't managed to take photos with them on the 1st day.

After we had our t-shirt changed...

Our 2nd day's job scope was drinks distribution. We had to form a human chain and pass cartons of water and 100 plus from the front to the back. Ahhh.. So tiring :(

They ended up breaking the human chain and carried from the front to the back. :( My hands T.T

After done carrying, each and everyone of us owned a station. The stations at the front were asked to distribute mineral waters and us, at the back were asked to distribute cold 100 plus.

So, before the race even started, we already started to prepare cold 100 plus by arranging it in the ice box.

Dawn, before the race starts 

The whole day was just so longggg and exhausted... We were there since dawn till the noon. We served water, we greeted, we congratulated the finishers, we were scolded by some stupid arabian guy -.- (Basically I argued with him lah, he talked no sense. He was so so so so stubborn and acted like he was the leader or what. PLEASE LAH, YOU'RE JUST AN ORDINARY VOLUNTEER JUST LIKE ME. -.-) Even most of the volunteers complained about him ISHH! >:(

Although it was exhausted, but I felt very honored to work as part of the volunteer team :D
There was this cyclist finisher, I handed him a bottle of 100 plus, he said

Thank you volunteers! Thank you so much for volunteering! :D

Felt extremely satisfied and happy when I heard this from him :D So glad so glad to be acknowledged!!! :)

Hope I can continue to take part in all these events cos self accomplishments feel so good eheheheh
