My very first week in Taiwan

Hey peeps! Actually I was writing a blogpost before this post, about my Hong Kong - Macau trip.
However I could not finish writing it yet since I am now doing my volunteering project in Taiwan.

So now I would like to share my first week in Taiwan here and I hope that I will be able to write my every week's brief summary here so that I would be able to read back and reminisce back all these in the future heh.

First day - 15th January 2015
I cried so much before leaving my house. My flight to Taiwan was about evening 5.45 pm, so I had my breakfast with my family before I leave. My sister didn't knew that I was leaving that day, so she planned an Ipoh trip on that day and booked the hotel. When she realized that I leaving on 15th, she felt extremely guilty and came to me every time she arrived home from work and clung with me HAHAHA. That morning, me and my family had breakfast together and we went to buy some daily stuffs at Hero Supermarket. My sister had to leave halfway during our groceries shopping. We reached home, I slept, I packed, I prepared and ready to leave to airport at 3 pm.

Throughout the whole journey, I was hoping that my parents would just dropped me at the entrance of the airport so that they won't send me off and I wouldn't cry.

They ignored me and drove into the parking lots. Took all my luggage and everything and headed to the departure hall. I was begging them to leave before Sook Lynn arrive in KLIA 2, but they did it on purpose haih

I can't hold back my tears.

Cried few drops and pretended nothing but actually I was ill. I was very uncomfortable in the airport. I was dizzy. I was very desperate to go home although I know I can't do that.

Took 3 hours and 55 mins of flight, had dinner in the plane

Still being nostalgic in the plane and anticipating what's going to happen to me once I reached Taiwan.

Reached the airport and proceeded out to the immigration. I was so afraid that they would ask me something that I don't know how to answer hahaha then ended up being in the lockup

Fortunately he didn't. But Sook Lynn's officer asked her about the host family place.

Headed to collect our luggage. As expected, my luggage came out early and Sook Lynn's one was no where to been seen hahaahha

Waited for quite some time until her luggage came out.

We walked out to the arrival hall and met my Taiwan buddies and the host family. Rushed home and everybody slept.

I was super uneasy because they told me that they normally sleep at 9.30 pm, which is super early for me.
After of one week stay, I am quite adaptive already since they sleep so early and I had to do everything really softly. Hoping that they won't be woken up by me and starting to complain about me the next morning.

The past whole week I would make it as the adaptive week since everyday I've been meeting challenges, getting a cultural shock and many more!

Some students tend to be friendly and talked to me a lot and some were doing their own things and they don't even bother.

I had to lunch with all the classes every single day, that's why I get to know every class before I leave.

We took many photos because the scenery over there was very good to capture.
